1. Who We Are

BEASTMODE Live is operated by Arcade Legends LLC, PO Box 456, Timnath, CO 80547. Contact us at privacy@beastmode.live. Our platform is powered by AI technology to help kids build and share browser games.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following information: (a) Email addresses when you create an account or join our waitlist. (b) Gamer names (screen names) that you choose, which are visible to other players. (c) Chat messages sent through our messaging system. (d) In-game currency balances (BEASTBUX) and game creation history. (e) IP addresses for security, rate limiting, and abuse prevention. (f) Content filter violation logs, which include the full text of any message that is blocked by our safety filter, the reason it was blocked, and the time it occurred. We do not collect real names, home addresses, phone numbers, photos, or payment information.

3. Children Under 13 (COPPA)

We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. Our content filter actively blocks children from sharing personal information such as phone numbers, email addresses, home addresses, and social media accounts in chat. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information without your consent, contact us at privacy@beastmode.live and we will promptly delete it.

4. BEASTCHAT Messages & Content Moderation

BEASTCHAT is our communication system. It includes direct messages (DMs) between friends and private group chats. All communication is restricted to accepted BEASTFRIENDS only — users cannot message or be contacted by non-friends. Every message is scanned in real time by our automated content filter before delivery. Messages that violate our safety rules are blocked and not delivered. Gamer names and group names are also filtered for inappropriate content. Blocked messages are logged with the full text, reason, sender, and timestamp. These logs are reviewed by our admin team. Users can report any message or user using the built-in report button. Reports are reviewed by admins. Message sending is rate-limited (max 5 per 10 seconds) to prevent spam. Parents can view all of their child's messages via the Parent Dashboard and can disable chat entirely.

5. Voice Calls & Group Voice

BEASTCHAT supports one-on-one voice calls and multi-user group voice chat (up to 8 participants). Voice uses WebRTC technology for direct peer-to-peer audio connections. Voice audio is NOT recorded, stored, or monitored by our servers. A safety notice is displayed when joining group voice. Call connection metadata may be logged for security. Voice calls use Google STUN servers for connectivity. Parents can disable voice chat for their child via the Parent Dashboard. Users can report any issues with voice interactions using the report system.

6. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: (a) Operate and maintain your account. (b) Enable communication between players via chat and voice calls. (c) Enforce our content moderation and safety policies. (d) Track in-game currency and game creation. (e) Prevent abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access. (f) Comply with legal obligations. We will never sell your information, share it with advertisers, or send spam.

7. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share information in the following limited circumstances: (a) With Supabase, our database and authentication provider, which stores data in the United States. (b) With Cloudflare, which provides hosting and security services. (c) With law enforcement if required by law or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of a child. (d) With a parent or guardian who requests access to their child's data.

8. Data Storage & Security

All data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Access to user data is restricted through Row Level Security policies that ensure users can only access data they are authorized to see. Admin access to moderation data is restricted to authorized team members.

9. Data Retention

We retain your data for the following periods: (a) Account data (email, gamer name, BEASTBUX balance): retained while your account is active and for 30 days after deletion request. (b) Chat messages: retained while the conversation exists. (c) Content filter violation logs: retained for 12 months for safety review, then permanently deleted. (d) Account hold records: retained for 12 months after the hold is lifted. (e) Waitlist emails: retained until the waitlist entry is approved or denied, then for 90 days. (f) Games you create: retained while your account is active.

10. Your Rights & Parent Dashboard

You (or your parent/guardian) have the right to: (a) Access the personal information we have collected. (b) Request correction of inaccurate information. (c) Request deletion of your account and all associated data. (d) Opt out of future communications. (e) View your child's friends list, chat messages, and reports via the Parent Dashboard at beastmode.live/parents/dashboard. (f) Disable chat and/or voice features for your child. (g) Permanently delete all of your child's data directly from the Parent Dashboard — this includes their account, messages, friends, game history, reports, and all associated records. This deletion is immediate and irreversible. Parents can also email privacy@beastmode.live for any data requests. We respond within 30 days.

11. Cookies & Tracking

This website does not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics services. We use browser local storage only for essential functionality such as remembering your login session and audio preferences. No data from local storage is transmitted to third parties.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. If we make material changes that affect how we handle children's data, we will notify users through the platform.
